Let’s discuss what is typically involved in a lameness or pre-purchase evaluation, early signs to recognize in your horse and when to seek veterinary attention, while considering conditions that do not involve the distal limb and result in lameness or poor performance (PSSM/myopathies, ODSP/Kissing spine, cervical osteoarthritis, EGUS/gastrointestinal ulceration).
