Inhand Equine Therapy is excited to host Part Two of our advanced professional education series, Within the Layers of the Horse. This in-depth, hands-on course is designed for equine professionals seeking a deeper understanding of hindquarter biomechanics and their impact on performance, soundness, and rehabilitation.
This course focuses on the pelvis, sacroiliac joint, lumbosacral region, hind limb neuromuscular function, and hind hoof integration, blending anatomy, biomechanics, and clinical relevance. Participants will spend the morning in a structured lecture and the afternoon in the University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine anatomy laboratory, working directly with specimens to reinforce learning.
Based on feedback from Part One, the laboratory portion includes both directed study and hands-on exploration, allowing participants to make meaningful connections between anatomical structures, movement patterns, and real-world clinical cases.
