OUR THERAPIST
Cassidy Barnert EST BSc(kin)
- Cassidy Barnert believes complementary therapies are fundamental for performance, recovery and quality of life for both horse and rider. With a BSc in Kinesiology and a 2-year Equine Sports Therapy certificate, she brings a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology to each session.
- Cassidy's passion for whole body wellness is rooted in her lifelong experience with animals, agriculture and athletics. Cassidy fell in love with horses at a young age and became heavily involved in Pony Club and 4-H. This involvement gave her the opportunity to compete in various disciplines, including English and Western. Cassidy now enjoys playing Polocrosse and moving cows on her family's farm.
- Cassidy was an athlete on the University of Calgary Wrestling team and played nearly every sport in high school. Here, she realized it takes a village to keep an athlete feeling and performing at 100%. Whether you're a weekend trail rider or a fierce competitor, Cassidy believes in treating your horse like an athlete and is committed to working with other equine professionals on your wellness team.
- Services available include equine massage, kinesiology taping, and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) for horses, dogs and people.
